With 20 years of senior living experience, I am Gary Brown, the Executive Director at Westminster Memory Care of Lexington. My background includes 18 years as Executive Director at Morningside Assisted Living in Camden SC and Sumter SC. I have served in Leadership positions with State and National assisted living organizations including Argentum and the South Carolina Association of Assisted Living. In addition to being a Community Residential Care Facility Administrator, I am also a Certified Director of Assisted Living and has been published in the leading trade organization magazine Senior Living Executive. I continue to serve on various DHEC committees and long-term care consulting groups.
I enjoy being active in the community. I volunteer locally with hospice organizations; advocate for Alzheimer’s and Dementia awareness, Veterans care, Mental Health awareness; and am a member Palmetto Leadership SC, various Chambers of Commerce, Committee of 100, Community Medical Clinic of Kershaw County, Camden Jaycees, and others.
I am a lifelong resident of Camden SC. A graduate of the University of South Carolina with a degree in Administrative Management and Marketing, I am married to my wife of 23 years Dorie. We are the proud parents of our fur baby and Pawleys Island rescued cat Myrtle. For fun, we enjoy restoring furniture, Gamecock football and Lady Gamecock basketball, and spending time on the coast.
LeAnne is a native of SC and has resided with her family in Lexington, SC for 30 years. She has been in healthcare since 1985 and worked specifically in senior living and rehabilitation for over 20 years. Her passion is serving seniors and their families, and she truly treasures each and every relationship. LeAnne offers compassion, understanding and care as she assists families and residents as they make difficult and emotional decisions and the transition of moving from their homes to a community setting. It is truly a blessing and an honor to serve seniors and their families.
