As a family scattered between Illinois, Colorado, Florida, and South Carolina, we decided to move dad to be closer to me. A lot of time and research went into that decision — from moving someone that distance with Alzheimer’s Disease away from familiarity and their medical providers to finding the best facility and fit for him….Dad will tell you that he loves the food, likes the birds, and enjoys the television room with comfortable recliners….. and of course we both love the stand and the camaraderie between the residents, staff and other caregivers.

I highly recommend Westminster Memory Care. The design of the facility is wonderful. It feels more like a home than a memory care. Overall, the staff is exceptional. A special thanks goes to Josh, Marie, Latoya, Sue and Helen for taking such great care of my Dad!!

I’d like to take this opportunity to thank you for the special care and consideration Westminster Memory Care has extended to my mother over the last several months of her new life.  Never in my wildest hopes and dreams did I imagine that she would have such a wonderful quality of life that she is experiencing now at Westminster!… I attribute all of that to the compassionate and loving care of the entire staff at Westminster!!  My mother has nothing but wonderful things to say about the caregivers/nurses who care for her on a daily basis – and believe it or not, that truly says a lot because she is quite the Diva! I also truly appreciate the attention to the cleanliness of both her and her room – it means so much to consistently see the attention to the details.  I have not met a single person at Westminster that was not kind and caring and that goes a long way with me in making my mom feel “at home”… It is especially helpful that your training in Memory Care is a key factor in helping her to transition and she actually seems ‘proud’ to have some ‘control’ over her life and her everyday activities… I would never have dreamed that my mom would be consistently getting dressed and staying mostly outside of her room every day and participating in activities!!!  Tonya is AWESOME and does a fabulous job!!  On many occasions, I have come to visit and watched without her knowing I was there and just can’t say enough about how happy it makes me to see her participating and having fun!!!… Well, let’s just say mom is very picky and the biggest problem I had when she lived with me was getting her to eat.  Now when I ask her what she ate today, she always tells me something that was ‘really good’.
