Our Short-Term Stay/Respite Care Program
At Westminster, we have seen that some caregivers simply need a vacation or short time spent away to rest and recharge themselves. If this feels familiar, then you may need a Respite Care program. Our program provides temporary relief to a primary caregiver from the continuous support and care of an adult with a memory care diagnosis.
Within this program, your loved one is moved into the community for a short period of time where they will be treated as a permanent resident. They will have the opportunity to join in on all of our activities, dining times, and other amenities that our full-time residents receive. This program aims to offer short-term relief to you, as the caregiver, without the stress or guilt of your loved one’s care.
